The JOIA resorts are on some of the most beautiful beachfront properties in the Caribbean. Part of the Iberostar brand offers a collection of 5 star luxury resorts newly rebranded.
Renewed resorts where rebranded in 2024 with upgraded amenities.
I personally recommend honeymoon couples and couples wanting a romantic getaway to experience all inclusive resorts and those seeking an adults only luxury experience.
The JOIA brand offers this luxury as a smaller resort with the option for stay at 1 play at 3 for a laid back atmosphere.
Here is what I found to be the best features & service during a visit:

🛎️Excellent Butler Service – Upon arrival we received a private check-in at a private check-in area. We were assigned a private butler who gave us information on amenities offered at the resort.
After checking in our room champagne follow and they offered to stock our mini bar and fridge with our favorite beverages.
Our drinks of choice was Mimosa’s which were made and often ready upon our return along with a fruit basket.
⭐Room’s with modern décor and premium view – We enjoyed a wonderful ocean view (see featured picture). This resort has all suites with butler service, most with ocean views. Jacuzzi tub, private balcony, sitting area both in room and on balcony. Swim out suites some offer direct access to the beach.
🍽️Exceptional Food Choices, Dominican & International –
La Tourbillon a French cuisine, A gourmet experience curated by internationally renowned chefs. Crab tartar, duck confit, and shellfish bouillabaisse.
El Galeon American, specialized in fish and seafood, such as grilled scallops, flamegrilled octopus, and truffles. A variety of flamegrilled beef cuts and sides.
La Tentazione – Enjoy the best wine pairing with à la carte Italian specialties, including pane carasau with marinated bluefish, Milanese style pork osso buco, and limoncello cream.
